An Oloroso Sherry Hogshead and a Ruby Port Barrique each worked their cask magic on the single malt: Berry purée meets Demerara sugar, cream meets grated chocolate and marble cake meets black tea. This magical combination comes into its own at a powerful 53.3% vol. and requires neither chill-filtration nor colouring to achieve its effect.
