This 12 year old Deanston was bottled in November 2024 for the Best Dram series. The whisky matured in a 1st Fill Ruby Port Barrique and has a cask strength of 57.7%. In total, the cask with the number 59 has produced 276 bottles.
Distilled exclusively from Scottish barley and matured in Ruby Port barriques, Deanston 2012/2024 combines deep, complex notes of old port with fine dark chocolate.

The distillery is located in the Highlands at the southern riverside of the River Teith not far away from the city Doune. In 1784 it was built as a cotton mill and in 1965/66 reconstructed as a distillery with four stills. Since 1990 Deanston is obtainable as Single Malt and owned by a south american investment company.
