The Clynelish 2016/2026 is an unusual example from one of the most sought-after Highland distilleries: it has been aged for a decade in a New Wood Hogshead and promises an exciting combination of the distillery’s characteristic waxy character and robust cask flavour.

The distillery, with a name that means as much as ‘mountainside’ or ‘garden on the slope’, is located some miles north of Dunrobin Castle near to the village Brora and therefore belongs to the northern Highlands. It was built in 1967 next to another distillery. Since both distilleries produced under the same name for a period of time the other one changed its name to ‘Brora’. The water Clynelish uses comes from the Clynemilton Burn.
