Duncan Taylor whiskies are based on a collection that is among the largest of its kind. For The Octave, the independent bottler ages selected single and blended malts or single grains for several months in approximately 50-liter sherry octave casks, achieving exceptionally refined flavor profiles. Four exclusive single casks provide proof of this – and showcase the refreshed look of the series.
In total, the cask with the number 10389A has produced 218 bottles.
Islay fans get their money’s worth here: a decade in the French West Indies Rum Cask gives the Bunnahabhain Staoisha 2014/2024 fruity agricole flavours and iodine in addition to smoke.
