Just a few minutes’ drive south of Linkwood, just outside Elgin, the Benriach 2013/2025 was distilled. After twelve years in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels, it developed a complex interplay of aromas including caramelized fruits, warm citrus notes, chocolate, and a finely integrated spice structure.

The distillery Benriach is located south of the city Elgin next to the distillery Longmorn and therefore belongs to the Highlands. It was founded in 1898 and already closed down again in 1900, before it was re-opened not until 65 years later. As one of a few of Scotlands distilleries it has its own malting floors. Since 2008 Glendronach and Glenglassaugh belong to the Benriach Distillery Co. Ltd.
