The Rhum Barbancourt 8 Years Five Star Rhum is made from pure sugar cane juice and then aged in Limousin oak barrels for 8 years. The Barbancourt 5 Star Rhum was originally called “La Goutte d’Or” – the golden drop.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Light gold with copper highlights. Beautiful maturity. Spicy cinnamon followed by light peppercorn notes.
Palate: Entry is fresh and smooth. Peppercorn notes are balanced by fruity notes.
Finish: Long and balanced with a ginger finish.
