The Domaine de Baraillon is located a little off the road at the gates of Lannemaignan (on the border between Gers and Landes) in Bas-Armagnac.

The fresh eau de vie is usually filled into 5,000 liter vats before being filled into new, different older kegs. Every few years they aerate their Armagnacs to encourage oxidation and from time to time they mix all of the barrels of a single vintage to ensure an even color and flavor.
