In addition to the whiskys from what is probably the most well-known Swedish distillery, Mackmyra, which has been producing since 2002, whiskys from the High Coast Distillery and the Smogen distillery have also found their way into our range. From our point of view, the latter two in particular have an extremely high quality in the distillates.

This single cask bottling of the Smögen distillery was distilled from heavily peated barley (Optic). The whisky was bottled after 8 years of maturation in a Madeira barrique with 58.3% vol.

Smögen 8 y.o. - Swedish Puncheons matured in large 350-liter barrels. The special feature: They were made from new Swedish oak and burned out to a medium strength. Type of wood and barrel size result in a balanced whiskey with wonderful notes of malt as well as nutmeg, ginger and of course a lot of peat, which is 56% vol. Cask Strength can develop to the full.

Cinco is the Spanish name for the number five. For Cinco, a number of casks have been used in which five different types of sherry have previously matured. The five varieties are Oloroso, Fino, Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado and Palo Cortado.
Originally, these casks were to be used for an advanced master class, but instead High Coast decided to blend some of the casks together: this became Cinco.
High Coast believes that no other whisky has yet been created by combining these five different styles of sherry.
Cinco was launched as a web release on Systembolaget.se on 1 June and sold out the same day. It will also be available in selected international markets.

The High Coast HAV is part of the distillery's Origins series, HAV is the Swedish word for sea.
The whisky for this bottling was distilled from peated and unpeated barley, on average the grain had a phenolic content of 11ppm. The whisky was aged in 200L bourbon barrels and in 40L Swedish and Hungarian oak barrels.

This 2012 Smögen was bottled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the independent bottler Svenska Eldvatten. It matured for over 8 years in a first fill bourbon cask.

This Swedish single malt whisky from the Agitator distillery was distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2023 for the Collective #1 series after maturation in a first-fill sherry hogshead.
"With a complex body, this Swedish whisky greets the nose with notes of mushroom and moss. Subsequent notes of fine peat smoke and umami follow. The Berry Bros. & Rudd Agitator is full-bodied and spicy on the palate. It tastes of leather, waffles, and pastries. [Subsequent notes]" There are maritime salt notes and smoke. The finish is spicy and long-lasting. The Agitator bids farewell with smoke and dried fruit.
