MALTS OF SCOTLAND, or MoS for short, was founded in 2005 in Paderborn, Westphalia, by whisky enthusiast Thomas Ewers. The specialist in Scottish whisky has established itself as a favorite in the whisky scene in no time. Over the years, contacts with various distilleries in Scotland were established and intensified. And there are more and more.
Today – over a decade later – MALTS OF SCOTLAND is one of the best and often award-winning bottlers for Scottish whisky. Worldwide!

The essential feature of all MALTS OF SCOTLAND bottlings is the consistently high quality of the bottlings. Right from the start, founder Thomas Ewers recognized that it is important not only to acquire matured whiskys, but also to create and build on a solid base of so-called “new make”. Today the treasures of MALTS OF SCOTLAND are stored and matured in over 80 different warehouses all over Scotland and the number is steadily increasing.
