Duncan Taylor

originated in Glasgow, where the company originally traded and brokered Scotch whisky casks within the industry.

It has been storing casks from Scottish distilleries for decades and now has one of the largest private collections of vintage and rare Scotch whisky casks.

In 2002, Duncan Taylor relocated his headquarters to Huntly on the edge of Speyside, Scotland’s largest whisky region, which has its own cask storage and bottling facilities, a cooperage and, very soon, its own distillery.

At this time, Duncan Taylor stopped the “brokerage” of whisky casks to distilleries and bottlers in order to concentrate on the production and marketing of his own brands and to diversify the portfolio with gin and rum.
