The Macallan Double Cask was aged for at least 18 years in European sherry and American oak casks. These gave it aromas of vanilla, dried fruit and toffee, which perfectly complement the basic fruity character of the Macallan.

The Macallan 12 Years Double Cask was stored exclusively in sherry casks. Tasting Notes: Aroma: Fudge with candied orange and lemon, alongside vanilla and sweet oak. Palate: Milk chocolate raisins and creamy toffee, balanced with orange peel and gentle spice. Finish: Medium with sweet oak.

The Macallan Classic Cut – Limited 2023 Edition is the seventh release in the limited annual series. This masterfully combines the sweet lightness of American bourbon barrels with the depth and complexity of Macallan's Sherry Seasoned Oak Casks. At a strong 50.3% vol. Notes of juicy pear and lemon peel combine with creamy vanilla, delicate oak and almonds.
