The casks for the "Bell Rock" are all from the first year of production, making it the oldest Kingsbarns single malt bottled to date. The recipe consists of 30% bourbon and 70% sherry casks, bottled in 46% and, as always, in natural colouring and without chill filtration. The total production run is just 2208 bottles. The original Tasting Notes: Nose: Toffee apples, rum and raisin, ice cream and white chocolate with raspberries. Taste: A light, luscious mouthfeel. Crisp red apples upfront supported beautifully by an apricot pastry note. Finish: The sweetness continues on the finish, caramel and pecan pie mingling with oak spice.
