Glenlossie was built in 1876 by John Duff in Birnie near Elgin and is therefore part of the Speyside region. In the immediate vicinity of the distillery is the Mannochmore Distillery, whose water also comes from the Bardon Burn in the Mannochmore Hills.

This Glenlossie 2008 was bottled on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Swedish bottler Eld Vatten. The whiskey matured for a total of 12 years and got a finish in an Olroso sherry cask.

This 2009 Glenlossie was bottled by Malts of Scotland for their Innocent Dram range after aging in a Bourbon Hogshead. This 13-year-old Glenlossie has been bottled for the new series called "Cask Noir Productions" by Brave New Spirits. Each whisky in this series is available as a single cask at cask strength as well as unfiltered and uncoloured. The combination of 13 years Glenlossie and 1st Fill Amontillado Sherry seems to be an excellent composition. Peach pears, gooseberry jam and the finest Viennese pastry make this whisky a special taste experience.

This Glenlossie was distilled in 1988 and then matured for 32 years in the refill Sherry Hogshead with the number 3665. The cask , which was bottled in January 2021, resulted in 224 bottles.
