The new Batch 8 continues the success story of the bottling after repeated awards for the Speyside Single Malt - Batch 4 was named World's Best Single Malt at the World Whiskeys Awards 2021. By combining Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry Puncheons with Rioja casks and a small amount of Virgin Oak Casks, Billy Walker achieves the acclaimed balance of dried fruit, spices, dark chocolate and signature GlenAllachie sweetness.

Studying the influence of casks on single malt whiskey is Billy Walker's life's work. The industry veteran addresses the phenomenon in particular in the Wood Finish Series. The series consists of innovative bottlings that the GlenAllachie Master Blender perfects in puncheons, pipes and the like, often from small producers from all over the world. His The GlenAllachie 13 J. - Oloroso Wood Finish was bottled exclusively for the German market. The noble single malt in a rich mahogany tone secured classic vanilla and spice notes in first and second fill barrels made of American white oak. Refined in Oloroso Sherry Puncheons, the dark exclusive bottling spoils the palate with a meaningful, full-bodied flavor profile that underlines the GlenAllachie character with cinnamon and coffee as well as dried and candied fruits. Tasting Notes: Nose: Lush aromas of cinnamon, heather honey and roasted coffee beans, with dried sultanas, mocha and grated coconut. Palate: Hints of syrupy figs and caramel brittle, followed by heather honey, cinnamon and candied ginger.

The 8-year-old Speysider will permanently complement the core range of the distillery. Married from a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, as well as a small amount of virgin oak casks and red wine casks, the whiskey offers sherry-aged sophistication. Rich in classic notes of Speyside heather honey and butterscotch, perfectly balanced with sweet spices and hints of ginger, GlenAllachie 8 y.o. the character of GlenAllachie.

The GlenAllachie 2011/2024 - Oloroso Puncheon Single Cask shows the independent Speyside distillery at its most individual. After 13 years in a single Oloroso sherry puncheon, the cask strength single malt coats sophisticated palates with complex notes of creamy salted caramel ice cream, pickled honeycomb and sultana butter, followed by dried red berries and mocha.

The opulent Glenallachie 18 matured in three different cask types, American Oak Casks, Sherry Cask and Virgin Oak Casks. As is usual for the Core Range, this whisky is neither coloured nor chill-filtered and bottled at 46% vol.

The noble single malt in natural amber shade secured classic vanilla and spice notes in former bourbon barrels made of American white oak. Finished in Ruby Port Hogsheads, the exclusive bottling nestles softly and velvety on the palate. Strong dark fruit notes and luscious mocha combine harmoniously with the honey-like character of The GlenAllachie whisky to create a taste experience with striking depth.

Cuvée - this is French and comes from the world of winegrowers. Derived from the word "cuve" for barrel or tank, it describes the blending of different wines that are bottled under one label. Winemakers thus combine the characteristics and aromas of certain wine-growing regions or grape varieties to create a delicious balance. The process requires great sensitivity in both wine and whisky production. A case for Billy Walker. For the finishing, Billy Walker used various barrique casks made of European oak, partly from the famous regions of Languedoc and Valpolicella, partly from Premier Cru Classé châteaux in Bordeaux. Artfully blended, the limited release offers elegant stone fruits, notes of toasted almonds and zesty orange peel on the palate. Tasting Notes: Nose: Powerful aromas of orange blossom, espresso, maraschino cherries and honeysuckle, with notes of candied stone fruits, hazelnuts, lavender and cinnamon. Palate: Notes of dark chocolate, redcurrants and roasted coffee beans, followed by crystallised almonds, blackberries and orange zest, with ginger and liquorice in the finish.

After the maturation in 1st fill bourbon casks, the GlenAllachie 15 years is finished in a combination of Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso Puncheons.
