Glen Moray was built in 1897 by Glen Moray Glenlivet Distillery Co. Ltd.. It lies on the edge of Elgin and is the only distillery on the west bank of the Lossie from which it also draws its water. It belongs to the Speyside region. Its name means something like “valley of the settlement on the lake”.

This 13-year-old Glen Moray was distilled in 2007 and then matured in a refill Amarone barrel. It was bottled by Michel Reick in February 2021.
