The Benriach distillery is located south of the city of Elgin in the immediate vicinity of the Longmorn distillery and is therefore one of the Highland distilleries. It was founded in 1898, closed again in 1900 and only reopened in 1965. As one of the few distilleries in Scotland, it still has its own malt floors. Benriach Distillery Co. Ltd has also had Glendronach and Glenglassaugh since 2008.
