After a long wait, the first whisky from the Ardnahoe Distillery is available on the German market! The whisky matured for a total of 5 years in bourbon and sherry casks and was bottled at 50%.

The second official bottling from the Islay distillery Ardnahoe: Infinite Loch. The whisky was named after Loch Ardnahoe, the loch that also gave the distillery its name. It is matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.

For the first time, we are collaborating with Ardnahoe Distillery to introduce a Sherry Quarter Cask Premiere and present two sherry editions. The limited releases perfectly showcase the Islay peat and sherry notes, creating a harmonious interplay of peat and Oloroso spice as well as peat and PX sweetness. The special maturation in sherry quarter casks results in a refined sweet and rich reward of dark fruits, followed by a warm and pleasantly long and smoky finish. Delivery is expected in calendar week 3 of 2026

You can expect the powerful intensity of the first cask-strength Ardnahoe Islay single malt. With an age statement of five years, this Islay single malt was bottled directly from the cask at natural cask strength of 60.9% and matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks, giving the malt a deep and more intense expression of the full-bodied Islay style.

The new release is named after the spectacular 'Bholsa' caves near the distillery. Prominent maturation in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks gives the single malt a special depth and rich spice, creating a traditional and full-bodied Islay style. The result is a sweet and rich tasting experience of ripe plums, oranges, and smoky raisins, soaked in Oloroso sherry. A spicy and pleasantly long smoky finish. Bottled at Ardnahoe's preferred alcohol content of 50.0%, with no artificial colors or chill filtration.
