Privateer Rum demonstrates its art in a special way in single cask bottlings of the Letters of Marque series, named after the letter of marque, the legal basis for privateering. The Letters of Marque Single Cask No. 574 has been exclusively selected by Kirsch-Import.
Its base: Grade A Guatemalan molasses, produced in a factory that ensures commitment to the environment and to the standards of sugar cane workers. Extensively fermented in 6 days at cool temperatures, it was double distilled in the pot still and the aromatic result left to the barrel magic of a New American Oak cask. After 4 years and 4 months of maturation in the maritime climate of Massachusetts, the rum with a full-bodied 57% vol. flowed into 228 bottles in vintage look.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Sweet vanilla and coconut shavings are followed by dry tropical fruits and dark caramel.
Palate: Dry and spicy at first. The alcohol is present but not unpleasant. The middle is marked by beautiful dark red fruits. Towards the end, the vanilla and coconut are again very present.
Finish: Long and pleasant with still a lot of coconut and chocolate.
