Miltonduff, also called Milton Duff or Milton-Duff was founded in 1824 in Elgin. It is located on the area of a monastery and was rebuilt in 1895. It was renovated in 1974 and 1999 and has two stills since then which are used for producing the whisky Mosstowie. The water the distillery uses comes from the Black Burn. The whisky from Miltonduff is one of the main ingredients of the Ballantines Blends.
