The Classic is part of the core range of Israelite distillery Milk & Honey. It is matured in ex-bourbon and STR red wine casks. The result is a smooth and balanced whisky that brings a surprising amount of complexity for its age, which is most likely due to the climatic conditions in Israel.
Official Tasting Note:
Aroma: Gentle vanilla sweetness, followed by light oak and floral notes.
Palate: Light body, vanilla, caramel and honey sweetness, balanced by oak notes and light black pepper spiciness.
Finish: Short but delicate, the oak notes linger in the palate for a while with a nice light spiciness.

Israel’s 300 days of sunshine in an average year and the Mediterranean climate are formative for the whiskies of the Mild & Honey distillery. Maturing in a warm climate means that the whisky matures quickly, yet with great grace. Whisky made in warmer climates takes on a specific terroir that produces unique flavours that are somewhat different from those of the Old World. The methods, technique and equipment are based on centuries-old knowledge, and the distillery adheres to the tradition of maturing for at least three years.
