Macnairs Exploration Rum Panama 15 Years – 46%

The Exploration Rum series is inspired by Billy Walker’s spirit of discovery. For the first three bottlings, the iconic master blender refined tropical American oak-matured rums from Panama by blending and post-maturing them on site at GlenAllachie Distillery.
Panama 7 y. o. underwent secondary maturation in red wine, virgin oak and bourbon casks – as did Panama 15 y. o., which matured for more than twice as long. Panama 7 y. o. Peated, on the other hand, underwent a second maturation in casks that previously contained peated GlenAllachie whisky.
