The magic of the golden hour over the French countryside that artists and photographers have
captured by artists and photographers, is the inspiration for Mackmyra Limousin. A fruity, playful, gently balanced Swedish single malt whisky matured predominantly in French oak casks that once held cognac made from sun-drenched grapes.

The flavours of the region are crucial for this whisky and are highlighted by the use of French Limousin oak casks, in which Cognac from the renowned Cognac house Ferrand was previously stored. To emphasise the fruitiness, we have added older oloroso casks to the recipe, as well as casks soaked in berry wine (cherry and wild raspberry wine) to give the whisky an interesting complexity and a touch of freshness.
