Macduff 2007 Hepburn’s Choice – 46%

This 13-year-old Macduff was distilled in 2007 and received a wine finish until it was bottled for the Hepburn’s Choice. A whisky that probably fits perfectly into the “easy drinking” category. The nose is fresh, light, pleasantly sweet. Red berry fruits from the wine cask attract attention discreetly. The drinking strength is very pleasant and rounds off the whisky excellently. This impression is reinforced on the palate. A whisky that can be drunk perfectly on warm, summery evenings, but also in merry, wintry rounds. A recommendation for all those who are less enthusiastic about strong whiskies and prefer light, floral and refreshing notes, typical Macduff.
