For the LQR Co. herbal bitters, a total of 25 genuine, natural herbs and spices are used fresh or in the dried raw state.
The macerate of herbs, spices and rock candy matures for several weeks in small stainless steel barrels and is then bottled by hand. It is only through this elaborate production and long maturing phase that the exciting and complex aroma of the herbal bitters emerges. The natural bitters come exclusively from the ingredients gentian root and wormwood. With a much lower sugar content than a liqueur, it is significantly less sweet and pleasantly subtle in taste.

Since LQR Company GmbH was founded in Berlin in 2012, their selected range of products has grown steadily. As far as possible, they buy directly from the producers and organise import, logistics, bottling and distribution completely independently. In addition to international spirits such as French gin and Caribbean rum, the herbal liqueur “KR/23” is one of their own creations, made with love and by hand in Berlin-Neukölln.
