BrewDog, the market leader in craft beer, entered the distilling business in 2015. At the distillery in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, the team, known for its unconventional creativity, produces a range of exciting spirits. A genuine love of product and craft is central to the brand. Their equipment includes unique stills with three reflux bowls for extra copper contact and a clean, fruity spirit. Among other things, the base for the Scots’ punky LoneWolf gins is created in these stills.
BrewDog has long since established itself in the gin range with its LoneWolf series. However, the creative Scots are always ready for an exciting surprise. With the LoneWolf Chilli & Lime Gin, the distillers are now unleashing their first limited edition on connoisseurs. There are 4,500 bottles of the Distiller’s Cut in total.
For the special edition, BrewDog Distilling Co. has come up with something that burns itself into the memory, LoneWolf-style. The tools: tangy and fiery botanicals – always against the backdrop of a classic juniper note. In addition to the zest of Mexican limes, the team used two types of chilli. Both Scotch Bonnet from West Africa and the Caribbean and the Habaneros from Mexico are among the hottest peppers in the world. At 44% vol., all the flavour components balance each other out harmoniously.
