Kinghaven Fiji Rum 2009 – 58%

Although Caldenby’s focus is on whisky, he began collecting rum distillate or recently matured rum in casks a few years ago – and completing the cane brandies for his Kinghaven continental range in premium casks. He was able to transform his Fiji 2009/2021 into a characterful, “funky” rum with clear notes of sherry by expanding it in the first fill Oloroso Sherry Hogshead.
