Hebridean Journey Blended Malt Whisky – 46%

The journey to the Scotch whisky regions continues with the JOURNEY SERIES. With the Highland, Islay, Campeltown and Hebridean Journey editions, an extraordinary series of four blended malts has been created that skilfully reflect the flavour diversity of the Scotch whisky regions.
In the process, the Hunter Laing tasting team has worked out the typical flavour profiles of each region – so that whisky beginners in particular can discover the world of Scotch whisky.

Tasting Notes:

The nose immediately transports us to the rugged Hebridean islands off the west coast of Scotland, with a wonderfully spicy, coastal saltiness. On the palate, a gentle peat smoke, ripe apples, malted barley and a hint of seaweed.
A long, satisfyingly warming finish calls us back for another sip.
