The Hayman’y Gin is now being produced in the fifth generation. The family business was founded in 1820 and sold to the Whitebread Spirits Group in 1987. However, the gin is still distilled in the traditional way and the recipe has not changed since the 19th century. Basically, the Old Tom Gin comes close to the classic London Dry.
The main difference can be found in the sweetness of the gin. Old Tom Gins can be sweetened.
