The Glenlivet distillery was the first legal distillery that was founded by the ‘art of exercise’ by George Smith (1824). It is located in the Speyside near Minmore (Ballindalloch) since 1858. Since 1880 it has the name affix ‘The’ Glenlivet for which the distillery had to fight in front of the court. Today it is owned by Pernod Ricard.

Tasting Notes:
Elderflower and soft dried apricot aromas give way to vanilla pod. Crème Brûlée and sherbet lemon combine with a hint of poached pear.
Fresh citrus flavours lead to crystalised violet with gentle hints of mouth-warming pepper. Creamy; red apple and dried ginger notes are followed by a soft herbal edge.
Medium-bodied finish with subtle malted cereal, oak and a sweet, delicate floral edge.
