Maturing in American oak casks and in casks containing the finest Oloroso sherry gives Glenfiddich 18 Years Old its complexity and intense fruit and wood flavours. But there are even more good reasons why this whisky is something very special!
Each of the carefully controlled bottlings is specially numbered and has an unusually intense character as well as a perfect consistency due to the elaborate blending and the particularly long maturation period. The finish is wonderfully warm and of great elegance.

The Glenfiddich was the first one that had ever been bottled and offered a Single Malt (1963). The distillery that was built by William Grant and his family in 1886 still is still owned by the family. The water that is used still comes from the Robbie Dubh Quelle. The company also owns the distilleries Balvenie, Kininvie and the Grain Destille Girvan.
