For the Glen Scotia 25 – which, by the way, was named the best whisky in 2021 – matured in excellent bourbon casks, from which only the best casks were selected, which were then allowed to mature again for at least 12 months in fresh bourbon casks.

Nose: Bracing Atlantic breeze gives strong maritime influence.

Palate: Red apple and tangy orange peel with vanilla syrup and caramel sweetness.

Finish: Long lingering sea salt with a spicy note of ground ginger
