Elephant Gin is distilled using 14 botanicals, including rare African ingredients that haven’t been used in gin-making before. The botanicals are hand-selected to limit any impurities and ensure only the highest quality ingredients are used.
The Sloe Gin is made with fresh sloe, which is macerated in Elephant Gin and gives it a fruity-sweet bouquet and a warm reddish hue.

The idea for an African-inspired gin evolved while reminiscing about the so-called ‘sundowner’ drinks after a day out in the South African bush. These sunset cocktails are a big tradition in South Africa – and more often than not, they consist of a G&T. The idea was backed by a mutual love of exotic African botanicals and a realisation that these would make interesting additions to a premium gin, alongside more traditional botanicals such as juniper and orange peel.
