It was matured for 15 years in a sherry cask and bottled in January 2024.

]]> The Bunnahabhain distillery is located at the kyle of Islay at the edge of the island in the northeast and lays that isolated, that there had to be constructed a long and curvy street down to the sea as it was built in 1881.The water that is used has its origin in an underground spring from the river Margadale and therefore it comes from Islay it has a relatively low concentration of peat. Until 2003 it was owned by an descendant of the founder, Highland Distillers. Nowadays it is owned by Burn Stewart Distillers.

Each whisky in this series is available as a single cask at cask strength as well as unfiltered and uncoloured. The combination of 13 years Glenlossie and 1st Fill Amontillado Sherry seems to be an excellent composition. Peach pears, gooseberry jam and the finest Viennese pastry make this whisky a special taste experience.

]]> Glenlossie was built in 1876 by John Duff in the Speyside in Birnie near to Elgin. Next to it there is the Mannochmore Distillery, which also uses the water from the Bardon Burn in the Mannochmore Hills.
