Supported by the centuries-old tradition of farm distilling, the infinite possibilities of on-site craft processes and outstanding cask management, Kilchoman's artful wealth of variations is on display. Different cask types, vintages and smoke levels are presented in Cask Strength. Each of the casks is numbered I-X for the release, each bottle individually numbered and accompanied by a short Distiller's Tasting Note.

]]> The distillery was opened by Anthony Wills in 2005. It was the first new-opening of a distillery on Islay after a pause of 125 years. It is located in the northwestern part of the island on a former farmer area and is the only distillery on Islay that isn’t located next to the sea. It also is the only distillery on Islay which may call itself ‘100% Islay’, using all the ingredients and doing every producing step on the island.
