Francis Darroze and his son Marc roam the Gascony countryside as treasure hunters. The search objects? Special Armagnacs. The independent bottlers buy their distillates either using a mobile distiller, which traditionally makes its rounds after the harvest, or already in barrel storage. In the in-house cellars, these often rare, several generations old casks or brandies are perfected by small producers.
