Single casks from the Tomintoul Distillery, on the other hand, are hardly known. Official single cask bottlings from the Speyside distillery are extremely rare. An exclusive single cask for the German market has never even existed. Until now!
With its 222 bottles, the Tomintoul 2013/2025 is available exclusively to Kirsch customers. For twelve years, bourbon barrel number 4328 was in the care of Robert Fleming, who has been managing Tomintoul's tall pot stills for over 20 years.
The result is a powerful, warming whisky with full-bodied aromas of vanilla custard tarts, poached pears, and roasted chestnuts, which are structured on the palate by tobacco and cinnamon spice and finish with a long aftertaste of nougat and cocoa powder.

]]> The distillery was founded in 1964 and is named like the highest-located village of Scotland. It is located in an romantic area near Ballindaloch. The water the distillery uses comes from the Ballantruan Spring. Most part of the produced whisky is used for making Blends, especially the White & Mackay.

More than 10,000 hogsheads, butts and the like are stored in the halls of the independent bottler. Signatory releases bottlings from this wooden treasure in various series. The orange tubes are synonymous with (entry-level) whiskies with a pleasant drinking strength of 43% vol. Now Signatory is discontinuing the series.
Ardmore is a very special Highlander. As a slightly peated Ardlair, it brings a moderate smoky as well as spicy note. Here very nicely in harmony with the sherry maturation.

]]> The distillery Ardmore is located south of Huntley in Kennethmont next to the railway that connects Aberdeen and Inverness. Sometimes it is stated that it lays in the Speyside and other times in the eastern Highlands. It was built in 1890 by the company Wm Teacher and Sons. Since 1978 Ardmore owns eight stills. Compared to other distilleries the history of this one was without any troubles. It was property of the founders for a long time, since 2005 it belongs to Jim Beam.
