Cotswolds Sherry Cask – 57,4%

For their Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky, the Cotswolds Distillery treats the fruity New Make Spirit to a particularly aromatic aging period. The accessories: Hogsheads and butts made from American and Spanish oak – some pre-filled with the dry Oloroso, some with the sweet Pedro Ximénez sherry. Carefully married, the result is a tempting single malt, full of notes of dark stone fruits, a hint of roasted almonds and peppery oak spice. Unadulterated and only minimally reduced to 57.4 percent by volume, the amber-colored whisky promises pure enjoyment.
