The Peat Monster Cask Strength combines celebrated malt whiskies from the Caol Ila and Williamson distilleries on the south coast of Islay. Compass Box also underlines its special connection to the USA with a partial finish in specially made Virgin American Oak casks from Missouri, which were briefly inoculated with grain brandy. Result: strong vanilla and cinnamon notes with sooty barbecue smoke, seaweed, salt and citrus notes.
Composition: Caol Ila Islay Single Malt (63.9%), “Williamson” Islay Single Malt (35%), Highland Malt Blend (1.1%).
