The Clydeside Distillery is located in the heart of Glasgow. The distillery buildings were built as early as 1877 as the Queen’s Dock pump house. Since 2017, the buildings have been developed as a whisky distillery, and the first whisky has been on sale since 2021. The distillery was planned by Morrison Glasgow Distillers, who have also been known in the whisky scene since 2004 with the independent bottler A.D. Rattray.

Already the first bottling from The Clydeside Distillery convinces with unusual elegance and class for such a young drop. A Lowland Malt of the highest quality, thanks to long fermentation, gentle distillation with exceptionally high cut points and the best wood management.
Named after the street that once led to Queens Dock in Glasgow and where today the distillery has found its home in the former pump house of the dock, Clydeside “Stobcross” presents itself in an eye-catching design, based on the maritime history of the location of its origin. The bottling of Clydeside “Stobcross” was of course done without chill-filtration and of course there is no added colouring, but a natural colouring.
A selection of excellent bourbon and sherry casks form the recipe for the first edition of the Clydeside Stobcross; future Stobcross batches will change slightly in composition and gradually contain older portions.
TASTING NOTES.
Nose: floral notes, fresh sweetness with tropical tones.
