The first Irish single malt made from locally grown barley was bottled in November 2020. This whiskey was distilled in another Irish distillery under the expert supervision of Stuart Nickerson after his demanding distillation ideas. The highlight: the type of grain, the variety, the planting times and conditions, the soil elements and much more information can all be called up via a QR code on the label. Original Tasting Notes: Nose: The nose opens with strong vanilla and sweet fruit notes, followed by hints of grain. Taste: Black pepper rises on the palate, overtaken by vanilla fudge and just a trace of raisins. Finish: The smooth finish is warm and comforting, honey on hot buttered toast.
