Original Tasting Notes
Nose: Foam banana sweets, dates, ginger, heather honey, gorse.
Palate: Vanilla custard, beeswax, honeycomb, stewed pears.
Finish: Cinnamon rolls, star anise, banoffee pie, tinned peaches.

]]> The distillery Benriach is located south of the city Elgin next to the distillery Longmorn and therefore belongs to the Highlands. It was founded in 1898 and already closed down again in 1900, before it was re-opened not until 65 years later. As one of a few of Scotlands distilleries it has its own malting floors. Since 2008 Glendronach and Glenglassaugh belong to the Benriach Distillery Co. Ltd.

]]> Blair Athol is located at the southern edge of Pitlorchy and belongs to the lowlands. It was rebuilt in 1949 at the same spot where already 1798 a distillery had its place. Its Single Malt is the heart of the blend ‘Bells’.
