Curated by the renowned firm Gordon & MacPhail, it unites five decades and five legendary distilleries in a composition that exudes rarity and artisanal perfection.

Seit 1895 widmet sich Gordon & MacPhail in Elgin der Kunst, Destillate in den idealen Fässern zur Vollendung zu führen. Dieses Set zelebriert die langjährige Partnerschaft mit Kirsch Import und präsentiert Ikonen wie den 46-jährigen Caol Ila aus einem Refill American Hogshead sowie Raritäten der geschlossenen Destillerie Littlemill. ]]> The distillery is located north of Port Askaig on the island of Islay, right on the Islay Sound. It was built in 1846 and, since 1974, has featured a completely rebuilt stillhouse that was expanded to include six stills. The distillery, which offers a wonderful view of the island of Jura, is now owned by Diageo. Caol Ila is a prime example of a “workhorse” distillery that primarily produces whisky for blends—in this case, for Johnnie Walker.

]]> Jack Wiebers is an independent bottler based in Berlin, the capital of Germany. The owner is Lars-Göran “Jack” Wiebers.
He has made a name for himself in the whiskey scene with his “Scottish Castles” and “Old Train Line” series, in which he has bottled many a standout release. But there have also been wonderful single casks in the “Cross Hill” series, the “Auld Distillers Collection,” and the “Prenzlow Portfolio.”
For fans of smoky Islay whiskeys, he releases the “Classic of Islay” and “Jack’s Pirate” several times a year.

In France, this blend was then aged for a further 3–6 months in small, used FERRAND casks. Alexandre Gabriel teamed up with six other ‘rum enthusiasts’ to create this wonderful rum. OFTD stands for: Old Fashioned Traditional Dark.

]]> The Bunnahabhain distillery is located at the kyle of Islay at the edge of the island in the northeast and lays that isolated, that there had to be constructed a long and curvy street down to the sea as it was built in 1881.The water that is used has its origin in an underground spring from the river Margadale and therefore it comes from Islay it has a relatively low concentration of peat.
Until 2003 it was owned by an descendant of the founder, Highland Distillers. Nowadays it is owned by Burn Stewart Distillers.
