William Cadenhead Limited, wine and spirit merchants, was founded in 1842 and was owned by the same family until it was taken over by the well-known J & A Mitchell & Co Ltd of Campbeltown, which owns the Springbank distillery.

Flensburg Rum Brazil 2011 Sea Shepherd – 55,5%

The oceans are the largest interconnected ecosystem in the world. All life on our planet depends on them. The non-profit organisation Sea Shepherd has dedicated itself to the passionate fight for the protection of the world's oceans and marine animals.

Rum has a similarly close historical connection with the high seas. In collaboration with FRC, Kirsch Import has therefore designed a range of single cask rums whose sale supports Sea Shepherd. In return, they put the spotlight on those who are directly affected by the pollution or overfishing of the oceans: their inhabitants.

Dedicated to the humpback whale, Brazil 2011/2024 was distilled from both molasses and fresh sugar cane juice. The rum matured for around six years in tropical conditions, including in Imburana casks made from Brazilian wild cherry wood, which are very rare in this country. It was refined continentally in bourbon barrels.

Emperor´s Way Otto I – 59,8%

In reference to the historic Harz Imperial Route, the extremely limited whiskeys of the Hercynian brand Emperor's Way are named after kings and emperors. In honor of the royal leaders, the Hammerschmiede designed its Peated Hercynian Single Malt with a strong smoky flavor and a fine fruity note. The bottlings are made from 100 percent local barley, which is dried to up to 35 ppm over peat from Lower Saxony.

With Otto I (the child) - First Duke of Brunswick, an extremely full-bodied, juicy character ascends to the throne. It owes its aromatic density to full maturation in fine First Fill Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry Casks. Peat smoke is complemented by raisins, fruit cake and mandarins, chocolate and malt as well as roasted nuts, gingerbread and caramel.

The new single malt Sovereign is named after one of the most important forefathers of the European aristocracy. Monarchs such as King Charles, Kaiser Wilhelm and the last Tsar of Russia can be traced back to Otto I in a direct line. In honor of his birth in 1204, the hand-numbered bottling is limited to 1,204 bottles.
