This second Benromach exclusive bottling for Germany was selected jointly by the Benromach distillery team and Schlumberger’s “Keepers of the Quaich” Andrea Caminneci and Thomas Plaue. This resulted in a unique Small Batch (1807 bottles á 0.7 litres) from a total of 6 first-fill sherry and bourbon casks. 48% alcohol gives it a powerful volume and is wonderfully smooth and elegant with the flavours of the whisky.
Tasting Notes:
A potpourri of yellow and red fruits with honey and vanilla sugar. Gentle oak spice. Flavours of peach juice, sherry spice, dried blackberries. Vanilla biscuits with subtle pepper. Lively and fruity with sweet smoke.
