But when De Ba Lumsden tasted this outstanding whisky he knew it demanded a different puth. Wholly aged in that cask for more than 18 years his creation has finally come of age. TASTE: Fowerfully peppery on the palate, with ware of tar, soot, aniseed and a suggestion of old fashioned boiled sweets favoured with cinnamon and peppermint.
FINISH: Creamy, sweet vanilla noten from the cask balance delectably with Ardbeg’s peaty intensity.
