This complex experience from the Abourlour distillery is 18 years old. The whisky was first matured in European and American oak before being finished in Oloroso and PX sherry casks for the final touch. Moreover, this is the very first batch of its kind. The whisky itself offers a very intense olfactory and taste experience, lots of smooth malt, full-bodied complex flavours. The alcohol in the whisky cannot be much better integrated than it is here.
