This beautiful and smooth blend is based on an old recipe by A.H. Riise and is made from carefully selected West Indian and Central American rums. This blend is matured in oak casks that were originally used to store sweet wines, contributing to the subtle, full and delicate flavours that make up the unique finish of this blend.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Hay, vanilla, flowers in the meadow, butter caramel and creme brûlée.
Taste: Lemon drops, vanilla cream and fragrant notes from the Sweet Wine casks combined in a delicious union.
Finish: Rich and creamy, with notes from the initial taste toning out gradually.

Albert Heinrich Riise was a Danish pharmacist and botanist. He lived from 1810 to 1882.

He began to sell rum at the time he was at the west indian islands as a pharmacist. His rum was exportet to a lot of countries and was very succesfull in Denmark.
