A. H. Riise participated in the Great Nordic Exhibition in Copenhagen in 1888. His products were exhibited in the West Indian Pavilion and he received a medal for winning the category. Riise’s cellar master has created a unique blend from several precious casks sourced from only the finest rum distilleries in the West Indies and Central America.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Soft oak, old leather and dried abricots.
Taste: Warm spices, Christmas cake and orange peel, ending with a hint of English wine gums.
Finish: Dried fruit, old oak and a note of sherry.

Albert Heinrich Riise was a Danish pharmacist and botanist. He lived from 1810 to 1882.

He began to sell rum at the time he was at the west indian islands as a pharmacist. His rum was exportet to a lot of countries and was very succesfull in Denmark.
