Agot Single Malt Basque Whiskey in the Pioneer Edition matures for three years in bourbon barrels and barrels from the Rioja Alavesa, the smallest and perhaps most beautiful part of the Rioja wine-growing region. The result: fresh and smooth aromas of toffee, vanilla and cocoa with the light spiciness of the red wine barrels. The single malt basque whiskey underlines its independence with its name. The “Agotes”, a minority from the heart of the Pyrenees, had to assert themselves against exclusion for centuries.
