Die 2015 in den schottischen Highlands nahe Inverness gegr\u00fcndete Whiskybrennerei ist vollst\u00e4ndig in Gemeinschaftsbesitz. Eine rekordverd\u00e4chtige Crowdfunding-Kampagne finanzierte das Projekt im Wert von 3,8 Millionen Pfund und lie\u00df nach 90 Jahren die Brennereitradition der Stadt Dingwall wieder aufleben.<br \/>\nEingebettet zwischen den Ausl\u00e4ufern des Ben Wyvis bringt GlenWyvis erneuerbare Energien (die Brennerei ist komplett unabh\u00e4ngig vom Stromnetz) mit lokaler Gerste, langer Fermentation und traditionellen Kupferbrennblasen zusammen. So entsteht ein robuster Single Malt, duftend und fruchtig.
